Broomhall’s Georgie Pillson (Broomhall is the name of the kennel he came from) was a very fine little dog. He was an Italian Greyhound, a breed known for its elegant lines and sweet disposition. He was pied (white with black markings) to “Georgie” – He passed away after a short bout with cancer.
Georgie was the impetus of my getting involved in writing iPhone Apps. The three apps on sighthounds (iGreyhound, eGreyhound, and iWhippet) are tributes to the three breeds - Italian Greyhounds, English Greyhounds and Whippets and are available free of charge via iTunes or the App Store.
